What Kayan is

Kayan is a cloud ERP for commerce brands. It connects Shopify, Amazon, in-store POS and wholesale to one live stock picture and one double-entry ledger, so every order, payment, shipment, purchase and pay run posts its own accounting the moment it happens. It works in any base currency with multi-currency and VAT built in, ships local payment and shipping rails for Egypt today (Kashier, Bosta), replaces the spreadsheet and the separate accounting app, and runs on web, iOS and Android. Kayan is built by Founders Bridge.

Who builds it

Kayan is a product of Founders Bridge (https://foundersbridge.org), based in Cairo, Egypt. The name comes from the Arabic word كيان — an entity, a whole structure — because the point of the product is to run a business as one system instead of a stack of apps.

Kayan started in Egypt, so the Egyptian pound, Egyptian VAT, Egyptian payroll rules and local payment and shipping rails are first-class. It works in any base currency.

Who it's for

Commerce brands that sell through Shopify, Amazon, their own stores and wholesale, and have outgrown spreadsheets and a separate accounting app. Operators, finance teams and warehouse leads work in the same records. Brands running on Kayan today include Braes and C-101.
